Aspen Initiative Africa – Nairobi (AIA-N) is the first African affiliate of the Aspen Institute, drawing on a 75-year global legacy of values-based leadership, dialogue, and public service. From our base in Kenya, we convene Africa’s most dynamic thinkers, doers, and decision-makers to confront complex challenges, explore bold ideas, and co-create pathways toward a just, inclusive, and thriving future.
We are convenors, consolidators, and implementers: building bridges across sectors, surfacing wisdom from lived experience, and creating the conditions for deep, transformative exchange.
Through fellowships, seminars, salons, and public dialogues, we offer trusted spaces where leaders refresh, reflect, reconnect with their values, and reimagine what’s possible for Africa, and the world. Rooted in African realities and connected to a global network, AIA-N is where new narratives take root and systems-level change begins.
